Established in 1940 in Gurahonț, Romania’s first syrup factory began by concentrating the best fruits and expertise into a single taste that has delighted countless childhoods: Laurul syrup.

Our origins are intrinsically linked to the untouched Apuseni Mountains, our source of pure water. For eight decades, we have honored a tradition of preserving nature’s essence in its cleanest form, free from artificial preservatives or colors. This unwavering commitment to our original, generationally-passed-down recipe has cemented our market leadership.

The bedrock of our success is the local rural community, the people who have grown alongside us. The Laurul factory is a pillar of stability, with employees whose children now fill their roles, continuing the legacy.

Our sustained quality was internationally validated with the Leipzig Gold Medal in 1970.

While our core principles remain firmly “NATURAL,” we have consistently modernized our equipment and processes. A recent €1,500,000 investment, now 90% complete, focuses on digitalization, automation, and integrating green energy into production.
